Regarding Military Scouting Experience 2024

It has been many months since our last Military Scouting Experience. Since then I’m inspired by the feedback and anticipation we have received for our next MSE weekend. Several scouts and their families had expressed eagerness in knowing when the next MSE will be conducted. We had hoped to execute another successful MSE in 2024. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case this year since facilities at JFTB Los Alamitos were not available as needed for a successful weekend.

It is therefore necessary for us to postpone our next MSE to 2025, perhaps between mid March and mid April. I’m confident many scouts won’t be happy to hear this. However, rest assured that Post 558 Infantry Explorers will continue to refine plans for another exciting and challenging event for the scouts.

We remain committed to executing another MSE weekend that the scouts will remember. Among our regular events and training, possible MSE2025 events include Blackhawk familiarization, scout supply mission competition, and more.

We hope you will continue to motivate your fellow scouts to make plans to attend MSE2025. Please share this information with your troops, members, and associates. We continue to invite email inquiries from those interested. Please do not hesitate to use our new email address for MSE related business at [email protected]

Scouting adults are also invited to offer their support as well in assisting in MSE. I look forward to keeping you informed with more information. Thank you for your steadfast support of Military Scouting Experience and Post 558 Infantry Explorers.
