Falcon Nation -

This Memorial Day, the Soldiers and Civilians of the 79th Theater Sustainment Command pause to honor and remember the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our Nation.

Their courage, selfless service, and unwavering commitment to defending our freedoms will never be forgotten. Today we stand on the foundation they built and remain committed to carrying forward their legacy with honor and purpose.

Let us remember the most recent lives lost during Operation Epic Fury and reflect on the true meaning of their sacrifice.

AGADIR, Morocco – African Lion 26 continues to strengthen military partnerships across Africa, and this year’s exercise introduced a new tool to advance that effort: the Assess, Advise, Advocate, and Integrate Operational Readiness and Sustainment Assessment. Instructors and trainers from the 79th Theater Sustainment Command helped lead the initiative, using the framework to close operational gaps and strengthen the enduring partnership between the United States and Morocco, April 20-May 8, 2026.

The A3I framework provides a structured method for evaluating and improving logistics systems across partner forces. During AL26, U.S. Army sustainment professionals partnered with Moroccan and other African officers to conduct operational logistics planning focused on real-world readiness challenges.

Soldiers from the 79th TSC volunteered to be simulated casualties for Ghana Armed Forces during African Lion 26 tactical combat casualty care training at Tifnit, Morocco, April 22, 2026. TCCC training enhanced readiness by rehearsing lifesaving medical skills in a realistic, multinational environment.

AL26 is U.S. Africa Command's largest annual joint exercise, designed to strengthen collective security capabilities of the U.S., African nations and global allies. Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) from April 20 to May 8, 2026, and hosted in Ghana, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia. AL26 involves over 5,600 civilian and military personnel from more than 40 nations, using innovation to drive partner-led regional security. (U.S. Army photos by Sgt. 1st Class Rodney Roldan)

Check out our latest news from African Lion 26 in Morocco as we highlight a unit from Puerto Rico who conducted sustainment operations with your 79th TSC family in support of AL26!

Soldiers from the 210th Regional Support Group. 1st Mission Support Command, a U.S. Army Reserve unit out of Aguadilla and Fort Allen, Puerto Rico conducted Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration (RSOI) operations during African Lion 26 at the Southern Zone Headquarters (SZHQ), Agadir, Morocco, April 26, 2026. The 210th RSG provides essential regional support and base operations, such as RSOI to enhance unit readiness. RSOI is critical because it is the military process that converts arriving personnel and equipment into combat-ready forces capable of achieving objectives in an area of operations.
