*Snowmobile Accident with Injuries*
At approximately 10:41 p.m. on February 18th, Lorraine Fire and South Jefferson Rescue Squad were dispatched to a snowmobile accident with injuries involving a snowmobile in the area of 2200 Bice Road in the Town of Worth.
Lorraine Fire arrived on scene and deployed the tracked UTV to locate and extricate the injured operator. The patient was located on Little John Trail in the Town of Worth. Lorraine EMT’s provided a rapid assessment and BLS (Basic Life Support) care, then transported the patient off the trail to South Jefferson Rescue Squads ambulance located on Bice Road.
The patient was transported to Upstate University Hospital with significant injuries.
