The Mark Mattingly Community Center (with basement) will be available as a weather shelter tomorrow 3/3 from 10 AM until the threats have passed. It is located beside the daycare in Loretto.

Kentucky House Bill 5 will devastate our community by eliminating an Ad Valorem tax on the bourbon industry that has existed for decades. Kentucky cities, counties and schools would lose around $30 million every year! Passage of the bill would mean BILLIONS of dollars in bonded bourbon infrastructure & inventory would generate ZERO revenue for our schools and local government.
The average bourbon barrel retail value is more than $10,000. The Ad Valorem tax paid? Around $3!

There will be a City of Loretto public meeting on June 22 at 5 Pm to discuss the sidewalk project. It will be at City Hall. All residents are invited to attend but will focus on those living along Loretto Rd from West Marion Elementary to Corner Food Mart.

NOTICE: Thanksgiving Garbage Schedule

There will be NO GARBAGE pickup on Thursday 11/25 or Friday 11/26.

If your regular garbage day is Thursday, your route will be picked up on WEDNESDAY 11/24.

If your regular garbage day is Friday, your route will be picked up on MONDAY 11/29.

We recommend having your garbage out no later than 7:00 am to ensure it is picked up as routes and times will differ from your normal.
