We’re strengthening nationwide readiness. Today, USDA–APHIS shared a new quarterly roadmap to keep the New World Screwworm Response Playbook up-to-date, science-driven, and informed by your feedback.

The Playbook was always meant to be a living document - and insights from producers, veterinarians, wildlife experts, Tribes, and State partners continue to make it stronger and more practical for real-world response.

Hello Food Preservation Fans!

NMSU Grant County Extension is hosting a Fermentation Workshop!
Monday, July 27
1:00-5:00 pm
Come learn science and safety based canning techniques from a Master Food Preserver. Instruction will include fermentation for sauerkraut. Recipes featured are great for the preservation of this staple food!
Location: Grant County Extension Office

Fee: $25 to cover supplies
