Lordsburg Hidalgo Library

Lordsburg Hidalgo Library The Lordsburg Hidalgo Library, in Lordsburg, New Mexico is a great place to visit. Come in and see what we have to offer- you'll like what you find!

Housed in a unique, historic WPA building in the center of Lordsburg, NM, the Lordsburg Hidalgo Library has been offering library services since 1919. From our beautiful stained glass windows and traditional adobe walls to our high, viga-constructed ceilings, we continue to offer valuable services to our county residents. Located in Hidalgo County, New Mexico, (designated a "Frontier County" due to our remote location and sparse population), our library gives county residents access to traditional offerings such as paper books and local history as well as ebooks, WiFi, fax and copy services and genealogy programs. We believe in the youth of our county and strive to reach them with services geared to meeting their needs. Always welcome here, youth will find a bright, sunny space to find a book, video, puzzle or art project to work on. Summers find us preparing to engage them in thought provoking programs and stories each week as we host the summer reading program. If you haven't visited our library in awhile, this is a great time to come "check us out!" Come often to see what's happening at your Lordsburg Hidalgo County Library.
