Productions by T and M - - presents the 5th Annual MUSIC FESTIVAL BY THE LAKE on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Black River Landing 617 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052.

We are very proud to present our headlining act SLAVE an Ohio R&B Funk Band popular in the late 1970s and 1980s. The Dayton, Ohio based group has been known as one of the first purveyors of the “mid-west" funk and soul and pop that became popular during the middle seventies and throughout the mid 80’s. Their first big hit “Gold Record” was the thumping single “Slide” in 1977 for Cotillion, where they remained until 1984. Their best tracks were lyrically simple and to the point, but the arrangements and rhythms were intense and hypnotic. Other Top Ten R&B hits were “Just a Touch of Love” in 1979, “Watching You” in 1980 and “Snap Shot” in 1981.

Also performing are Veronica Cooper, Seriously Mumbling, Jewels Charlton, Silhouette and Rayr Image Band.

Come out and enjoy food, fun and entertainment hosted by Ollie Bohannon.

There will also be a Line Dance Contest with Cash Prizes.
