Do you love working with young children and creating spaces where they can feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves? LIFRC is looking for a Play Aide to provide 1:1, child-directed play sessions with elementary-aged children during the school year.

This part-time position is 7–10 hours per week, Monday–Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., with pay of $25–$27/hour, depending on experience. We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, flexible, a good listener, and genuinely interested in building meaningful relationships with children.

Great news!!
The Washington State DOL is coming to Lopez! On Wednesday, September 16 from 8:30am–3:30pm, the DOL2Go mobile team will be set up here at the Family Resource Center (23 Pear Tree Lane) offering the same services as a full DOL office, including enhanced driver's licenses and ID cards. Credit or debit only. No ferry required. Pass it on!

- Working phones in good condition
- Chargers, if available

Thanks to your support, Lopez Food Share families will be enjoying island-grown meat from 4-H producers.

$3,596 in community support and $1,000 from the Food share allowed us to purchase 1 Lopez pig and 2 Orcas lambs.

Huge thank you the entire 4-H community, to Nathan and Sage from Barn Owl Bakery for making this happen, and to LeAnne and Donnie Burt for handling the auction.
