Please be advised that the Splash Pad at Blue Anchor Park will be closed today, Thursday, June 4, 2026, for maintenance and repairs.

Dear Loomis Residents,

The Town of Loomis is seeking community feedback regarding proposed Safe Routes to School (SRTS) improvements along King Road near Loomis Grammar School.

Please help support your community by taking five (5) minutes to complete our public survey. Your input will help the Town pursue approximately $480,000 in grant funding for pedestrian safety and accessibility improvements in the area.

The proposed project is intended to improve safety for students, families, and pedestrians traveling to and from school while maintaining efficient vehicle movement throughout the corridor. Future improvements are not anticipated to negatively impact traffic flow or roadway safety.

Community feedback is an important part of the grant application process, and every response helps strengthen the Town’s ability to secure funding for this project.

REMINDER: FIREWORKS ARE PROHIBITED IN THE TOWN OF LOOMIS

For the safety of our community, pets, open spaces, and neighborhoods, fireworks of any kind are not allowed within the Town of Loomis.

Illegal fireworks can:
• Cause fires and property damage
• Create safety hazards for residents and first responders
• Disturb pets, wildlife, and neighbors

Please help keep Loomis safe this summer by celebrating responsibly and leaving fireworks to professional shows.

Voters who want to cast their ballots for the June 2, 2026 Statewide Direct Primary Election in person can visit any open vote center in Placer County to obtain a poll ballot or use “Sign, Scan & Go!” and have their vote-by-mail ballot scanned as they watch. Find vote center locations, their days and hours of operation and much more on the Placer County Elections website at placercountyelections.gov/vote-center-locations.

Need to register to vote, obtain a replacement ballot or have questions about the primary? The Elections Office is ready to help! In addition to their regular business hours, the office will be open Saturday and Sunday, May 30 and 31 between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 1-800-824-8683 (VOTE), email [email protected] or visit in person at 3715 Atherton Road in Rocklin.
