He had income. But he still didn’t have a place to call home.

Move-in day was just the beginning. 🏠

Before I opened Bloom House Living, I spent six years at Humana helping people navigate Medicare, Medicaid, SSI, SSDI, and VA benefits. I’m still licensed. That doesn’t go away when someone walks through our door.

So when I noticed a billing error at the pharmacy — I said something. When Extra Help benefits weren’t being applied to his account — I knew what to look for. When he needed someone to help him make sense of the system — I already spoke that language. 🌱

That’s not a service Bloom House sells. That’s just who I am. 💁🏾‍♀️

What Bloom House does provide is stable, structured housing for adults who are ready to move forward. A clean room. Shared common space. A consistent address. A community of people doing the same thing. 🤝

For the case managers, social workers, and discharge planners referring into our program — when your client comes to us, they’re not just getting four walls. They’re getting a founder who has spent years inside the same systems you work in every day.

We provide housing. I bring everything else I am to the table.
