Thrive Support Groups for the Whole Family

Thrive Support Groups for the Whole Family Thrive! is one of Mobberly's initiatives in providing support to the whole family. Support groups are offered for all ages and run in 13-week semesters.

We all go through hard places. We all have things in our lives that are designed to burden us. Life was designed by God to be good. Life is good. But these hard things, these hardships - trials and tribulations, as Scripture calls them - are designed to keep us from walking and living in the goodness of life. So Thrive! is designed to provide tools and support for people who are in those places; f

or individuals who are ready to leave the hard place, or individuals who need to be steadied in the hard place, or individuals who are ready to go because they've had enough of the hard place. desires to offer support not only for the individual, but for the whole family. So everyone can come and receive age-appropriate information and support and get back in the car and live a life together as a family that finds health out of the hard place.

📍 Silver Grizzly Espresso | Longview

Foster and adopt moms carry a unique kind of weight.

The trauma.
The hard questions.
The behaviors that don’t make sense.
The deep love.
The fierce commitment.

And sometimes… the loneliness.

This group was created because moms asked for it.

Led by Robin Fortner and Jenny Archer, this space exists to offer encouragement, understanding, and biblical wisdom for women parenting children from hard places.

It’s a place to:

• Be real about the highs and lows
• Learn practical tools for parenting through trauma
• Gain insight from Scripture and trusted resources
• Celebrate growth in your home
• Sit, breathe, sip coffee, and be with women who get it

As one mom shared:
“To instantly have a common bond with other Christian women who know exactly what you’re talking about is a gift from God.”

You don’t have to carry this alone.

As believers, we sometimes rush ourselves past grief.
We quote Scripture. We try to “be strong.” We tell ourselves we should be further along by now.

But biblical faith has always made space for lament.

Some healing requires sitting in the loss before stepping into what’s next.

You are not less faithful because you’re grieving.
You are human — and deeply loved by a God who stays close in sorrow.

Don’t rush what God is gently walking you through.

Discovery isn’t about chasing something new.
It’s about learning to see differently.

This month in Monday’s Corner, we’re exploring what it means to grow into steady character — not loud success, not quick wins — but depth.

📘 The Measure of a Man by Gene Getz walks through twenty attributes of a godly man and challenges us to examine the quiet places of our lives.

Growth doesn’t happen overnight.
But it does happen intentionally.

What’s one area of character you’re asking God to strengthen this season?

Romance is a beautiful gift.

It’s the spark.
The butterflies.
The late-night conversations and laughter.

But romance was never meant to carry the full weight of a marriage.

Long-term commitment is what sustains it.

Scripture tells us, “Love never ends.” — 1 Corinthians 13:8

That kind of love isn’t built on chemistry alone.
It’s built on covenant.

Covenant says:
I choose you when feelings are strong.
I choose you when feelings are thin.
I choose you in joy.
I choose you in hardship.

Romance may rise and fall with seasons.
Commitment keeps the foundation steady.

When Christ is at the center, marriage becomes more than emotion —
it becomes endurance, faithfulness, and grace over time.

Romance is a gift.
Commitment is what makes it last.

Sexual betrayal changes everything.

The life you thought you had can feel shattered.
Your mind races. Your body reacts.
You’re overwhelmed by emotions you don’t even have words for.

You are not crazy. You are experiencing trauma.

Betrayal & Beyond is a partner-sensitive group designed to help you heal — at your pace, in a safe and grace-filled environment.

In this group, you will:

• Understand how betrayal trauma impacts your mind, body, and soul
• Learn practical tools to stay emotionally safe
• Recognize and respond to trauma symptoms
• Build strategies to manage stress triggers
• Reclaim the power of self-care
• Work toward rebuilding trust and emotional health
• Create a future plan that is informed and intentional

Healing is possible.
And choosing support for yourself is a courageous first step.

If you’re walking through betrayal, you don’t have to navigate it alone. 🌿

HOPE.

Not wishful thinking.
Not crossing our fingers.
Not pretending everything is fine.

Hope is confidence in who God has already proven Himself to be.

When life feels uncertain…
When the diagnosis isn’t what you wanted…
When the future feels foggy…

We don’t manufacture hope.
We remember.

We remember His faithfulness.
We remember His character.
We remember that darkness has never had the final word.

Real hope is anchored — not in outcomes — but in Him.

What are you anchoring your hope to this week? 🌿
