As small business owner himself, our 19th District State Rep. Jim Walsh, appreciates Scott Vydra and his understanding of Longview's budget needs and the challenge of having to balance ever increasing costs against the tax dollar we all pay to the city. We need Scott Vydra to keep the balance of city services we all want and need with those city services we can all afford. (Longview city budget, FY 2019) (Paid for by Citizens for Scott Vydra)

In 2004, Scott Vydra and his wife moved to Longview, realizing what we already know: Longview is a great place to raise a family.

Scott Vydra believes that the city’s role is to provide the best services possible with our Tax dollars, that we can afford - Services like rapid Police and Fire Response, well maintained streets and sidewalks and well kept and maintained parks, supported by thriving businesses.

Scott Vydra believes that our community is made stronger and better by our numerous citizen volunteers like those who help at Go4th and our service clubs that sponsor Squirrel Fest, or our Businesses and Churches that volunteer at Community House on Broadway or sponsor summer camps or concerts at the lake.

Scott has the support of numerous Community Leaders including Arleen Hubble, Carolyn Feasey-Kirkpatrick as well as first responders like Ret. Longview Police Captain Hal Mahnke and Retired Police Officer Larry Cowan.

Scott is a past President of the Kiwanis Club of Longview and Past President of the Salvation Army of Longview/Kelso. Scott Vydra has been a leader that we can count on.

Scott needs your vote, Please Vote Scott Vydra for Longview City Council Position 2.
