💙 Celebrating Reunification Day 💙

Cowlitz and Clark County Child Advocates were honored to celebrate Reunification Day—a time to recognize the incredible strength, resilience, and perseverance of families who have successfully reunited after dependency.

Reunification represents hope, healing, and the power of families coming back together. Every family deserves the opportunity to be whole, and every child deserves the love, stability, and permanency of a safe and supportive family.

We celebrate the families who have walked this journey, the children who have shown remarkable resilience, and the many people who work alongside them to make reunification possible.

Big squirrel, big community spirit! 🐿️💙

Our Cowlitz County volunteer & community engagement specialist, Veryl, had a great time at Longview Squirrel Fest —because at CCCA, being connected to our local community is at the heart of what we do. We’re proud to show up, get involved, and build connections wherever our community gathers!

🎒💙 On to our next adventure.

Because every child deserves to walk into a new school year feeling ready, confident, and cared for.

Thanks to everyone who supported our backpack drives, foster youth across Cowlitz & Clark Counties returned to school with the supplies they need—and a little extra reminder that their community is behind them. 🫶

Thank you for helping make their next adventure a little brighter. ✨

It’s back to school season, and Ticket to Dream Foundation and Famous Footwear are helping foster youth head into the new school year with brand new backpacks!

Thank you to everyone who rounded up their purchases in stores and online to help provide these essentials and make our backpack drive a success.

Turns out… it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. 🍦🌈

Sometimes it’s sprinkles, ice cream, questionable dance moves, and a team that knows how to have a good time. 😂
