Tomorrow is the first day of school. Doors open at 8:00. It is a full day for grades 1 - 5. Don't forget to pick up your dismissal tags in the office.

ATTENTION! THE "REMIND" APP IS GOING AWAY AS OF 8/31/26 AND BEING REPLACED BY "FINALSITE 2-WAY CHAT"!!!!

Dear Superstar Families,

As we prepare for the 2026 – 2027 school year, we are excited to take the next step in our transition to Finalsite 2-Way Chat, Longview Public Schools’ new communication platform. You may have heard that this change was coming, and now we are asking families to get set up so you are ready to communicate with teachers and school staff.

FINALSITE 2-WAY CHAT REPLACES REMIND and is built directly into the Longview Public Schools app. Our goal is to make school communication simpler by bringing messages, conversations, and important updates together in one convenient place.

We encourage families to download the app so you are ready when teachers and school staff begin using 2-Way Chat.

On Monday, the district will “go live” with the 2-Way Chat feature, and at that time you will be able to log in to 2-Way Chat via the app or a web browser at www.longviewschools.com/fs/chat/signin.

Superstars Families,

Today was the first day of the 2026 - 2027 school year for our Superstar staff. We started our time together welcoming new staff and having a ribbon cutting ceremony for Mrs. Prothero, who is entering her first year as a classroom teacher.

Our Superstars worked really hard on improving our overall i-Ready scores from last year AND the beginning of this school year. When your students reach a school-wide goal, you have a school-wide celebration!

Today, Mrs. Woehle led a painting session with all of our TK-2 Superstars! Thank you, Mrs. Woehle for all your support for our Superstars!
