HOPE exists to reduce homelessness and help people rebuild stability. Through daily outreach, basic needs services, crisis response, sheltering, and case management, we provide the support and connection that open the door to housing. Since 2023, HOPE has helped over 240 individuals in Longmont move into housing. During a frigid winter of 2006-2007, five people died of exposure-related illnesses i

n Boulder County, and a dedicated group of citizens responded. They started a year-round, Longmont-based street outreach to homeless individuals. Soon after, HOPE was formed (May 13) and established as a 501(c)(3) on June 12, 2007. For many years, HOPE was run primarily by volunteers, who are still a thriving part of HOPE’s ever-growing services. They are now joined by dedicated full-time staff, a dedicated board, and many more part-time staff.

💜 Will you help more people find a place to call home?

Denise never imagined she would experience homelessness.

After illness changed everything, she lost her home and struggled to find a way forward. With support from HOPE, Denise secured housing and began rebuilding her life.

Today, nearly three years later, she’s tending vegetables on her balcony, enjoying her neighbors, and giving back. She even shops garage sales and thrift stores for towels, clothing, and other supplies HOPE clients need.

As Denise puts it, “I don’t know where I’d be if Leah and Aly hadn’t helped me.”

Your support helps people move from crisis to stability, and sometimes from receiving help to becoming the person who gives it.

Will you help someone take the next step forward?

Dan’s story is proof that a difficult chapter does not have to be the final one.

Having experienced homelessness himself, he immediately connected with HOPE’s mission. Today, he helps lead that mission as a member of our Board of Directors.

Give HOPE today. Because everyone deserves a chance to move forward.

💜 What does hope look like in our community?

For someone experiencing homelessness, it can look like a safe place to turn, a helping hand, or the support needed to find stable housing.

Every day, HOPE for Longmont walks alongside our neighbors facing housing instability, connecting them with resources, housing support, and compassionate care. Because of supporters like you, lives are changing and hope is growing.

You can be part of that story.

A pair of shoes can be the first “step” 👟 for someone to visit HOPE and begin their housing journey.

We are calling on the community to request donations of men’s shoes:
Sizes 10–12 with intact soles
For our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Many of the people we serve walk long distances every day to reach shelter, meals, medical care, work opportunities, and our outreach center. Worn-out shoes can lead to injuries, infections, and make it even harder to access support.

If you have gently used or new men’s shoes you can donate please drop them off at our Outreach Center

Some heroes wear capes, some show up with paint and hardware. 🛠️💛

Secular Haven, a chapter of the Society, just remodeled our (previously very cramped) outreach center! Because of them, we now have a space that’s not only more functional, but strengthens our ability to provide trauma-informed care for the people who rely on us every day.

We’re incredibly grateful for this amazing gift, a space where pathways home can truly begin. 🩷
