From the tiniest mouths (our kittens) to the biggest appetites... 😊

We're also running very low on the Costco brand food we feed to our large dogs. If you're making a trip across the river and have room in your cart, would you pick up a bag for the shelter?

We'll happily take any variety, but the green bag is definitely their favorite!

BABY GOAT CUDDLING OPPORTUNITY! This is not a drill. Repeat: This is NOT a drill!

Yesterday, we took in 11 kittens and all of them need to be bottle fed! 🍼🍼

Six were dumped in a laundry basket in front of our door. Thankfully, they were with mom, but she's just a kitten herself so she doesnt have enough milk.

That's on top of the kittens already in our care, and we're running low on supplies to help these sweet babies.

We're especially low on:
🍼 KMR (kitten milk replacer)
🥫 Royal Canin Mom & Babycat wet food
🐱 Purina Kitten Chow

Meet Nala, a Lioness in Search of Her Pride

This golden tabby's name: Nala. Meaning: "queen." Soft and strong all at once, I like to think I’ve earned my name. Almost 8 years old, I don my regal title without fanfare or show, only quiet dignity. Like warm sunlight, I touch your heart and lift the cold from its deepest corners.

Undemanding, I love time spent thoughtfully observing my domain. I greet visitors with soft meows but loud purrs, making sure everyone knows they are welcome in my presence. Despite my mild nature though, there's one thing I keenly want: a family of my own, to share my warmth and wisdom with, and to receive love and care from in kind.

HAY, everyone! Have you HERD? Farmer Deb is inviting everyone to celebrate her BAA-rthday in style - and help the pets - with a 50/50 fundraiser party! 🍰🎉

(Okay, okay, we'll stop KID-ding around... stop RAM-ming these goat puns down everyone's throat... stick to talking about the hoote-NANNY....)

Next Sunday, June 14th, all ages are invited to join the festivities! There'll be baby goat cuddling, catering and live music, and three raffles to help benefit the South Pacific County Humane Society.
