What better day than today to donate to democratic workplaces for youth?

Please join us in giving what we can.

Youth from across the country are convening for a Cooperative Youth Conference. There are youth from Mississippi who are starting a land-trust to keep housing affordable, youth from rural Minnesota who run a sustainable farm together.

There's also a crew from Cleveland - 18-21 year olds who work at a teen center in the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood. They're thinking about turning their teen center into a worker-owned co-op (where they, the young workers vote to decide the programming and negotiate their own wages). So they're coming to learn models of how this can be done from other people their ages.

The time is now!

Their group is under pressure to sell off their land so private corporations can build massive palm oil plantations. Here is the family's response.
