On June 6, we celebrated the official grand opening of the new F&M Bank Amphitheater with a sold-out concert headlined by Long Beach’s very own Snoop Dogg, who was presented with a Key to the City by Mayor Rex Richardson. 🎤🎶🔑

Framed by panoramic views of the Long Beach skyline and iconic Queen Mary, the venue serves as the largest waterfront amphitheater on the west coast and is expected to host up to 40 concert-scale events annually. Additionally, the venue will welcome musical talents and visitors from around the globe for a robust lineup of major concerts and events, community celebrations and private gatherings!

The venue’s debut coincided with the 94th Annual Meeting of the United States Conference of Mayors, bringing municipal leaders from across the nation to the city for the first time the conference has ever been held in Long Beach. Earlier in the week, on June 4, City officials gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening of the new amphitheater.

We would like to recognize our Waterfront Development team and Long Beach Special Events and Filming for working diligently to help make this project a reality. We’re thrilled for this new era of live music and entertainment here in Long Beach City!
