The City of Long Beach no longer accepts pennies as of June 1, 2026, per Federal Government Guidelines. This affects CASH PAYMENTS ONLY. City Construction Projects Underway:

1. Replace/Rebuild Lift Stations @ The Breakers, 26th ST NW, and 4th ST S @ Oregon

2. Leveling the area behind the Boardwalk near the Bolstad Beach Approach for recreation and the new home of Dog O' Rama.

3. New Waterline installation from 42nd ST to 51st ST in Seaview.
(The purpose of this project is to improve water volume and quality, which was identified in our Water Comprehensive Plan.)

4. New installation of Water, Sewer and Stormwater lines, along with a new sidewalk and road surface on Ocean Beach Blvd. N from Pioneer Rd. NW. to 26th ST NW.
(The city was successful at securing grant money to repave and install sidewalks. Therefore, this project started sooner than originally planned.)
