The recent arrest of 49ers owner Jed York in a prostitution sting is a reminder that we cannot stereotype who creates demand.

There is no single “type” of buyer.

If we want to end exploitation, we have to talk about the demand that fuels it.

Back-to-School Safety Starts With Us.

As a new school year begins, take a few minutes to help your child stay safe at school, online, and everywhere in between.

3 simple steps for parents:
🔹 Teach them about stranger safety and healthy boundaries.
🔹 Monitor online conversations and know who they’re talking to.
🔹 Use parental controls and review them together.

Most importantly, keep the conversation open. Let your child know they can always come to you when something doesn’t feel right.

Talk. Listen. Connect. Together, we can keep children safe.

PARENT SAFETY REMINDER: PUBLIC PLACES & RESTROOMS

Public places can be busy and unpredictable. A quick trip to the restroom is a good reminder to teach children how to stay alert and know what to do when something feels unsafe.

Teach your child to:
• Stay close to a trusted adult.
• Pay attention to their surroundings.
• Leave immediately if someone makes them uncomfortable.
• Never confront a stranger—find a trusted adult, employee, or security guard.
• Always tell you if something feels wrong.

Remind them:

“If you feel unsafe, come to me. You will never be in trouble for asking for help.”

Safety starts with awareness. Talk to your child before your next outing.

Forgotten Children, Inc. proudly celebrates our CEO, Tera, on receiving the Sisters in Ministry Torch Award.

This recognition is a testament to her unwavering faith, servant leadership, and commitment to answering God's call.

A heartfelt thank you to Pastor Sonja Dawson for taking the time to honor and celebrate women in ministry. Your encouragement, vision, and leadership continue to inspire so many.

We are also deeply grateful to the Center of Hope Church family for your constant love, prayers, and support, and to Anointed Feet Dance (AFD), your steadfast encouragement and unwavering support have been a true blessing.

Most importantly, we give all glory to God. We are continually amazed by His faithfulness, favor, and provision as He opens doors and expands the impact of Forgotten Children, Inc.
