Long Beach Marine Bureau developed this page to introduce you to the many wonderful waterfront assets that Long Beach possesses and offers to the public. Located on the coast of Southern California, and with shore waters protected by a series of breakwaters, Long Beach's climate and waterfront conditions are second to none. Long Beach's Marine Bureau manages approximately 3,800 slips in t

hree marinas, and a thriving commercial harbor which provide many enjoyable on-water activities. In addition, the Marine Bureau manages nearly eleven miles of recreational beach and waterfront, five launch ramp facilities, a rowing/water-skiing facility, and more.

"Mayor Robert Garcia said it was imperative for these concession stands to have quality operators, especially with their expected prominence during the upcoming 2028 Olympics. 'These are home run sites and they deserve home run food and beverage,' Garcia said."

With the Alamitos concession stand already under construction, the city will now focus on the Granada and Junipero locations. The latter are expected to be done by summer 2020.
