The California State University Long Beach Police Department strives to maintain the highest standards of excellence by developing personnel and utilizing technology to create a safe learning and work environment for Students, Faculty and Staff. CSULB PD personnel will strive to conduct themselves in a professional and exemplary manner to which other law enforcement officers and civilian employees

will aspire. The vision of the Department is to provide for equal treatment of all culturally diverse groups belonging to the California State University, Long Beach. This includes, but is not limited to, all people, regardless of their ethnicity, race, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, physical impairments or political beliefs. The University Police Department is dedicated to an ongoing educational program to provide Department personnel needed information to be responsive to the cultural needs of the staff, faculty, students, and guests of the University.
