If your organization, school, church, or group is interested in displaying a banner, please contact Long Beach City Hall to complete the required form and get your event on the banner calendar.

📅 Plan ahead! The banner schedule can fill up quickly, especially during the fall when Long Beach has so many events and activities taking place. We encourage organizations to submit their requests well in advance to help secure their preferred dates.

We had a wonderful time this morning at the Harper McCaughan Town Green for Yoga in the Park, hosted by The Energy Club! 💚

Thank you to everyone who came out, enjoyed the beautiful weather, and started their Saturday with a little movement and relaxation.

Today, the City of Long Beach joins our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the bravery of the first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who answered the call, and we remember the strength and unity shown by Americans in the days that followed.

May we never forget.

Moment with the Mayor | This Week in Long Beach!

Mayor Tim Pierce is back with another update on what’s happening around our community!

Business of the Month: This week, we’re highlighting our September Business of the Month, Dee’s Nutrition! We stopped by to recognize them and thank them for being part of our Long Beach business community.

New Business Spotlight: We also visited one of our newest businesses, Big John’s Tat Shop Long Beach! We’re excited to welcome them to Long Beach and wish them continued success.

Water Main Update: Following the water main leak on Alverado Road, the water is safe and there is NO boil water notice in effect. If you experience discolored water, please contact Long Beach Public Works for assistance.

This Weekend: Start your Saturday with FREE Yoga in the Park hosted The Energy Club. Join us at the Harper McCaughan Town Green from 9–10 a.m. Bring your mat and enjoy a relaxing morning outdoors.

These meetings provide an opportunity to stay informed about planning, development, zoning, and projects that help shape the future of our community.

Water Leak Repair Update

Public Works has completed repairs to the recent water leak. Throughout the repair process, the water distribution system maintained adequate pressure and no boil water notice was required or issued.

Customers may experience temporary discoloration or cloudy water as a result of normal water flow changes associated with the repair. If you encounter any issues with water quality, including discolored water, please contact the Public Works Department so we can assist you.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while our crews completed this repair and restored normal service.
