Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose legacy continues to inspire service, learning, and connection. Little Free Libraries reflect the spirit he championed — sharing, access, and opportunity for all.

Make it a day on, not a day off by spreading kindness, uplifting neighbors, and helping stories reach new readers. Take a book, leave a book, or share something that inspires justice and hope.

Together, we build the Beloved Community — one book at a time.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day

From Hawaiʻi shores to Alaska islands, from the plains to the pueblos — Indigenous peoples are the first stewards of this land.

Let’s celebrate their histories, cultures, and resilience. Let’s listen, learn, and uplift. May their voices continue to shape our shared story — past, present, and future.

Book Magic Incoming!

Our Little Free Library curators had the best day at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, receiving generous book donations from fellow lit lovers!

These Rich Shapero books will soon find happy homes in the community—because reading is better when it's shared.
