As participants of Operation Soteria Shield 2026, the Lone Star Police Department was assigned cybertip # 227001550 for investigation by the North Texas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Commander. This cybertip was reported by X A.I. of suspect in the area using the GROK artificial intelligence to produce life like images of child s*xual abuse material (CSAM).

On Friday March 27, 2026, Officers from Lone Star Police Department, Morris County Sheriff's Office, Ore City Police Department, Mt. Pleasant Police Department, Hawk Cove Police Department and agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) took registered s*x offender Jesus Aleman Jr. into custody for Lone Star warrant #2601-00014 possession of child po*******hy.

Upon being contacted, Aleman admitted to having cellular telephone at his residence that contained CSAM. Officers executed a search warrant signed by the District Judge and retrieved the phone. The phone was taken to the MT. Pleasant Police Department electronic forensics lab where investigators located more than a thousand images of CSAM. Due to Aleman’s previous conviction, the case has been forwarded to U.S. Attorney’s Office for Prosecution.

The men and women of East Texas Law Enforcement want all abusers and exploiters of children to know that the internet that was once your playground is now our hunting ground and you can no longer hide on the net.

The Lone Star Police Department is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Cass County Fugitive Task Force to strengthen our commitment to public safety.
We are especially proud to share that Sgt. Andrade will represent the Lone Star Police Department as a member of this task force. His dedication, experience, and commitment to protecting our community make him a valuable asset to this collaborative effort.
The Fugitive Task Force focuses on identification, location and apprehension of wanted violent fugitives. Through this partnership, our agencies will be able to combine manpower, intelligence, and resources to more effectively investigate crimes and apprehend those who threaten the safety of Cass County and Lone Star.
Partnerships like this demonstrate the power of law enforcement working together toward a common mission. When agencies collaborate, we become stronger, more effective, and better prepared to serve and protect.
Please join us in congratulating Sgt. Andrade as he takes on this important role. The Lone Star Police Department is proud to be part of this effort and looks forward to the positive impact this partnership will bring to the citizens we serve.
