Liberty Township Fire-Rescue We operate off of a continuing levy tax revenue passed by the voters of Liberty Township.

We offer CPR classes to the community by request and do a fire prevention assembly once a year at Southeastern High School. Our coverage are includes a K-12 campus, Trucking Companies, Schooley Station Industrial Park, Cline Propane, a local Donut Shop, several churches, two gas stations, a machine shop and several farms along with our residential areas.

Practice these tips to shovel safely!☃️❄️

Lift with Legs: Bend your knees and keep your back straight; lift using your leg muscles.
Keep Load Close: Hold the shovel and snow close to your body to reduce strain.

Push, Don't Throw: Push snow as much as possible; if you must lift, use smaller scoops.

Pivot Feet: Turn your whole body and feet in the direction you're throwing snow; never twist at the waist.

Pace Yourself: Take frequent breaks (every 10-15 minutes) and drink water.
