Good news!

Gov. Mike DeWine rejected an effort by Ohio's Republican-controlled legislature to tighten the rules for mail-in voting.

DeWine vetoed legislation that would require photo ID to vote absentee starting in 2027. GOP lawmakers fast-tracked the bill in their final session before summer break, despite concerns from local election officials.

Under current law, Ohioans who vote by mail can provide a driver's license or Social Security number in lieu of a photo ID. House Bill 472 would require them to provide a copy of their photo ID, either by mail, in person or through an online application portal.

We are going to the fair!!! We hope to man our booth each day of the fair from noon to 8:00 P.M. We are splitting each eight hour workday into two four hour shifts; noon to 4:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
We are asking for one volunteer to cover each shift. We have two entry tickets so if you want to bring someone with you, do it and, feel free to take turns leaving the booth to check out the fair, get food, etc. during your shift.
Our fair booth is a great way to remind our community that we are here and we are ready to listen to them!

Hello! We are heading into an exciting election season. Now is the time to engage! We meet the 3rd Monday of each month, 6:30 PM, at the Madison County Engineer's office, 825 US Rt 42 in London. Our goal is to educate voters and support Democratic candidates for local, state and national elected positions. Please join us when you can and be a part of the team that helps flip our District blue in November!
We have 12 of 22 Madison County voting precincts that are not represented by a precinct captain/committee member.
