Dear MPLSD Families and Staff,

It has come to our attention that some students threw nails onto Linson Road and the school parking lots. We have had our staff go over the area with magnets, and the county sent a street sweeper truck out to help clean off the road as well.

We encourage all of our students, staff, and those who drive on Linson Road to check their tires before driving.

In addition to the work we are doing to investigate and address this matter, please also know we have been in contact with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and have made a report about this with that office, as well, as this type of activity will not be tolerated.

Welcome to Golden Eagle Nation, Coach Ronai!

Pending Board approval, Madison-Plains Local School District is proud to welcome Mr. Bob Ronai as the next Head Boys Basketball Coach for the Golden Eagles.

Coach Ronai brings decades of experience, leadership, and success at both the collegiate and high school levels. A Madison County resident, he has built a reputation for developing strong programs, mentoring student-athletes, and creating winning cultures wherever he has coached.

Coach Ronai was inducted into the Urbana University Hall of Fame for his contributions as both Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Athletic Director. Throughout his career, he has led teams to championship-level success and helped shape the lives of countless student-athletes on and off the court.

At Madison-Plains, we are excited for the leadership, energy, and passion Coach Ronai will bring to our basketball program and school community. Please join us in giving Coach Ronai a warm Golden Eagle welcome as he begins this new chapter with Madison-Plains!
