🚨 Commercial Vehicle Accident Traffic Update

I-75 at the 33 MM: One lane will remain closed until sometime tomorrow due to a commercial vehicle accident. Two lanes are currently open.

KY 363: 363 remains closed due to a seperate commercial vehicle accident, near the 6000 Block, in Keavy Fire Department’s District.
The closure is currently expected to last approximately 4 to 6 hours.

Please use caution and allow extra travel time in these areas.

Laurel County Fire Department is currently on scene of a commercial vehicle fire following a wreck on I-75 Northbound near the 33-mile marker.

I-75 Northbound is blocked and is expected to remain closed for some time while crews work the scene.

Please avoid the area, seek an alternate route, and use caution around responding emergency vehicles.

🚨WEATHER ALERT🚨

Laurel County is under an increased threat of flash flooding today as multiple rounds of storms move southeast across the region. Heavy rainfall may occur in a short period, especially in areas that received rain yesterday, causing creeks, streams, low-lying areas, and roadways to flood quickly.

Residents should monitor local weather alerts, use caution while traveling, and be prepared to move to higher ground if flooding develops. Never walk or drive through a flooded roadway—turn around, don’t drown!
