Another round of storms is possible later tonight. Some storms could become severe. Locally heavy rain is also possible.

...A LOOK INTO THE OVERNIGHT AND EARLY SATURDAY MORNING...

Models are still hinting a one final round of storms to push through the area during the overnight hours and lasting through sunrise Saturday.

Gusty winds and very heavy rain is the primary threat. An isolated tornado can't be ruled out.

Stay weather aware during the overnight hours into the early hours of tomorrow. Hopefully the models will be incorrect but they have been hinting at this all day.

We'll keep you updated on the latest if needed.

[5:05 AM] Once again, scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon. Some storms may produce gusty winds or locally heavy rainfall. Have multiple ways to receive weather information!

Hot temperatures and high heat indices will continue today and Thursday. Heading into Friday, there may be some showers and storms that could cause temperatures to be not quite as high as previous days.
