It’s with a heavy heart that London MHA express our sincere condolences to the Poindexter family in the wake of the loss of their wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Beverly Poindexter.

Bev was hired in November 2005 as the Community Service Coordinator for London MHA and moved into the Office Manager position in 2008 where she secured that position until retiring in the spring of 2018. She kept in touch with the office staff always letting us know what was going on in her life since retirement. She loved to brag about her grandchildren and great grandchildren with such pride. We just spoke about a month and a half ago. I’m grateful I got to have an enjoyable conversation with her.

Starting at London MHA just a week after she did we had some funny, crazy, sad and some off the wall times working together at LMHA. She always said “she could write a book with everything that happened while working there.” When she retired I was handed the reigns of manager which were some pretty big shoes to fill. I will always hold dear the memories shared working with Mrs. Poindexter and she will be missed. I know she is enjoying being reunited with her son Eddie J., her parents, and her siblings. Our sympathies are with the family at this difficult time. 💔
