hi friends! 🫶🏻 LONG POST AHEAD!
this is going to be a hard announcement, one ive been going back and forth on for a little while now. after giving it a lot of thought, trying different solutions and talking with those close with me (as well as some other stewards in LFL land), ive decided to make a small change to Paige’s Pages.
going forward, the library will be stocked with only teen and adult books. making this change will help me keep things a little more manageable and make sure the library stays in good shape for everyone who uses it.
the awesome thing about this community though, is that there are at least four more little libraries (that i am aware of!) around town. so if you are looking for middle school and under, or are wanting to donate books for younger kiddos, there are so many other great resources for this!
i hope you all know that this decision wasn’t easy for me, as i have three children of my own who have utilized the little library right alongside the community. but this was the best option moving forward with the library to keep it (and the books housed in it) in good shape!
*the switch will most likely take place on Saturday or Sunday this weekend. there are still a lot of great kid books i have that will be put out for new homes. please stop by and grab them, any left over i will distribute to other libraries around town.
I APPRECIATE YOU ALL, really truly. I hope this isn’t too upsetting for anyone.
