Join us on June 13th for a FREE training to learn the foundations of safely securing and using fi****ms! This event is open to all Madison County residents ages 8 and up - families are encouraged to attend!

This training is provided by Onyx Gun Club owner and Life Side Ohio ambassador Thomas Cunningham, with support from members of the Mental Health and Addiction Task Force of Madison County.

💜 Our seniors deserve safety, dignity, and support. Unfortunately, cuts to senior services put thousands of older adults at greater risk for neglect, exploitation, isolation, and abuse.

At Madison County Protective Services, we see firsthand how important community resources are for helping older adults remain safe and connected. Services like meal delivery, transportation, wellness checks, caregiving support, and protective services can make a life-changing difference.

If you suspect an older adult may be experiencing abuse, neglect, or exploitation — no matter how small the concern may seem — please speak up. Your report could be the missing piece that helps protect someone in need. 💜

West Jefferson's Lunch and Learn is fast approaching, offering free summer lunches and interactive STEAM lessons and presentations. The program will feature COSI's EiPiC program every Tuesday, complemented by ABC The Building Blocks of Computer Science, Cut Out for Computer Science, and Math Camp-In Camp Summit curriculums. The first session will feature multiple STEAM stations. Other highlights include a captivating puppet show, a special Father's Day card activity, and 4 STEAM career demonstrations. We encourage you to join us from June 1st to August 6th, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 11:30am-1:00pm. Please arrive promptly at 11:30am to ensure maximum participation time. This program is designed for individuals under 18, with no registration required. Caregivers may choose to stay or drop off their child, assuming the child is self-sufficient. While most sessions take place at The West Jefferson Community Center (230 Cemetery Rd), 3 field trip dates and location changes are noted below.
