It is with sadness and heavy heart that we announce to the Loma Linda and Colton community the passing of Shannon Kendall. Shannon passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2021. Shannon always put others first and was a pillar in the community he both lived and served in a disaster. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, peers, members of CERT and the community.
Shannon was survived by his wife Kristen and four children.

Shannon’s wife Kristen asks for donations to the GoFundme page (https://gofund.me/ba56e248) lieu of gift cards, flowers, and other donations.

Let us come together as a community and help this fire family during this unforeseen and difficult time.

Hello CERT Members,

In case anyone is interested in completing training on ICS 100, 200, and 800 certificates all in one day, there is a combined class being offered in Redlands this coming Saturday, May 5, 2018. ICS 100, Introduction to ICS and ICS 700, Introduction to NIMS are highly recommended certificates for CERT members to have. ICS 800, Introduction to the National Response Framework introduces you how to things work at the Federal level in concert with state, local, tribal governments, etc. during a disaster.

Also, I am hoping to offer a similar class in Loma Linda or Colton on a Sunday by the end of this year.

Thank-you for all you do to support Loma Linda and Colton CERT.
