In 1972 CCCOA was known as “Senior Citizens, Incorporated.” It was a small operation that had the senior citizen’s best interest in mind and allowed for recreation. In 1976 the name changed to the “Cass County Council on Aging, Incorporated and shortly after adopted a public transportation plan which is now known as “Cass Area Transit.” The CAT provides over 150,000 rides and logs over 1 million m

iles a year and provides tens of millions of dollars and economic support to our community. The Cass County Council on Aging, Inc strives to be a central resource for all community seniors including those of fresh retirement around the age of 55 and older. We offer high-impact technology and events for seniors in areas of exercise, recreation, and social including aerobics, simulated bowling, arts and crafts, bingo, euchre, and more. CCCOA strives to help our community seniors maintain a healthy lifestyle and improved quality of life and also strives daily to provide the best in quality transporation for all of the citizens of the City of Logansport and Cass County.
