***THIS POST CONTAINS OUTDATED INFORMATION***

There is a marginal risk for strong to severe storms this afternoon into the late evening (4pm-1am ET) along and west of I 69. Confidence is low as best ingredients come together towards/after sunset, which could limit severe intensity. There is a marginal to slight risk (NW OH) for severe storms Sat, with the best potential in the afternoon and evening. Confidence is medium with more favorable ingredients and timing than Friday, but severe intensity could be limited by AM rain/storms. Damaging winds and large hail are the primary threats for both today/Sat.

Upcoming training opportunities...

Fire Officer II is underway.

Later this month, for health and medical partners, we will have an emerging infectious disease themed tabletop exercise. This is an opportunity to network with fellow preparedness coordinators, catch up on the latest regarding evolving situations, and meet regulatory requirements for participation in a preparedness exercise.

In July we have the NOBLE IQ Solutions Flammable Liquids Technician course for fire personnel. This includes hands on training for many hazards which are in or pass thru Cass County daily.

See flyers for registration instructions. We are proud to serve Cass County 🇺🇸
