We are excited to participate in the Summer Food Service Program this summer! The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is sponsoring SUN Meals, a summer food program where kids eat free!

All children ages 1–18 are eligible to receive free meals during the summer months at participating program sites.
starting June 1st meals can be picked up at the Health Department Monday–Friday from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Please note:
• You may only pick up meals from one meal provider per day.
• If you are already participating in weekly meal pickups at a different location, you are not eligible for daily meal pickups at this location.
• A parent/guardian must pick up meals for their own children.
• If a parent/guardian is unable to pick up meals, another adult may be designated to do so. However, we MUST have signed permission on file from the parent/guardian before meals can be released.

We look forward to helping keep children fed and healthy this summer!

SAOP is currently collecting personal hygiene items to help support survivors in need throughout our community.

Many individuals accessing services may be leaving unsafe situations with very few personal belongings. Having basic hygiene items available can help provide comfort, dignity, and immediate support during difficult moments.

We are especially in need of:
• Toothbrushes
• Toothpaste
• Bar soap & body wash
• Deodorant (men’s & women’s)
• Feminine hygiene products
• Pads (various sizes)
• Tampons
• Panty liners

Donations of any kind are appreciated, including monetary contributions that allow us to purchase urgently needed items as needs arise.

If you would like to donate, please contact SAOP or stop by during business hours. Thank you for helping us care for survivors in our community.

Email [email protected] or call (740) 591-4266 to make your donation today.

A great way to get involved or teach your teens how to serve their community!

A safety plan is a list of actions, specific to you and your life, that can help you lower the risk of being hurt by your partner, whether physically, emotionally, financially, or through any other form of abuse.

Some people find it helpful to write out their safety plan. Others may feel that it would not be safe to have a printed plan around and instead make a mental plan. You know your situation best, so trust your judgment. It is always best to consult with trained domestic violence professionals to create a safety plan.

For more information on how to create a safety plan, contact WC&S via the hotline (412-687-8005) 24/7 or text (412-744-8445) or chat (WCSCanHelp.org) from 9am to 5pm, Monday-Friday.
