# # # Bathroom Independence

We have noticed that bathroom accidents are happening a little more often than expected. We are continuing to work with your child at school and would appreciate your help at home as well.

Please practice:

* Pulling pants down and back up independently
* Recognizing when they need to use the bathroom
* Taking their time and making sure they are finished before leaving the bathroom
* Washing hands after using the bathroom

Please also send **extra clothing** in your child’s backpack, including **an extra pair of shoes**, in case an accident occurs. Be sure to replace clothing as it is used so your child always has a change of clothes available.

🌟 First Week of School! 🌟

What a great first week of learning, growing, and getting comfortable with our new routines! 💛 Our friends are learning what to expect each day, practicing classroom routines, and building relationships with their teachers and friends.

We’re also learning important social skills like serving ourselves, sitting together, and enjoying meals with our friends. 🍎🥪

Through the HighScope curriculum, children have opportunities to make choices, build independence, learn through hands-on experiences, and share control of their classroom environment.

We’re off to a wonderful start! Here’s to a year full of learning, friendships, confidence, and fun! 📚🖍️❤️
