The Logan County Solid Waste Authority, in partnership with the Logan County Commission, has recently added an additional litter control officer to help combat litter, garbage, and illegal dumping throughout the county. This addition will allow for greater area coverage and improved response to calls and complaints. Below are some photos highlighting their efforts the past month. If you have any questions or concerns, or would like to report a problem area, please call 304-792-6265.

ATTENTION WASTE MANAGEMENT CUSTOMERS!

If you are a customer of Waste Management, they will pick up two bulky items each month for disposal at no extra cost to you. You can go online at wm.com to schedule a pickup. Their website also has information about how to prepare the item(s). Here is a list of items they will take on a scheduled pickup:

Carpet/Padding
Housing Fixtures (Sinks/Toilets)
Small and Large Appliances (without Freon)
Small and Large Electronics
Small and Large Household Furniture
Exercise Equipment
Mattress/Box Spring
Small and Large Outdoor and Sports Equipment
