Today we got the opportunity to celebrate International Dot Day with students from schools in the Man area. On this day we encourage students of all ages to “make their mark” and use their creativity to make the world a better place. We aren’t sure who had more fun, the flight crew or the students!

Today Air Evac was invited to attend a ceremony for the dedication of the Gary W. Cox Terminal at the Big Sandy Regional Airport. Gary has been a staple in the aviation community for many years and a valuable asset to not only the airport but also his community. Thank you Gary for always making us feel like we are home when we get to stop by for fuel!

Yesterday during our Base Safety Meeting, we had the privilege of recognizing a remarkable career milestone. This month, Chris Carter celebrates 15 years of dedicated service as a Flight Paramedic with Air Evac.

For the past 15 years, Chris has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to clinical excellence, exceptional patient care, and the communities we are honored to serve. His professionalism, leadership, and dedication embody the values of Air Evac and have made a lasting impact on countless patients, families, and colleagues.

Today we were honored to host our 2026 National EMS Week cookout. We spent the day with many of our friends and family members celebrating the privilege of serving our communities with pride.

EMS is often the overlooked part of the medical world, but for this one week each year, we pause long enough to reflect on the impact each of us has made in the lives of people experiencing some of their worst days.

To everyone who was able to attend, thank you for coming! “Thank you” will never truly be enough for all that you do every day, and a cookout could never repay the dedication and sacrifices made by EMS professionals. We simply hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did.

We are proud to serve beside the very best of the best. Happy National EMS Week 2026!
