Only you can prevent vehicle burglaries!

Look, we get it. Relatively speaking, Logan is a fairly safe place to live. That being said, burglaries, especially vehicle burglaries, are overwhelmingly crimes of opportunity. This means that most criminals aren’t jimmying locks or smashing windows to gain entry, they’re simply looking for easy opportunities via unlocked doors to get in. But there is a silver lining! You can almost entirely prevent being the victim of burglary by simply locking your doors and bringing your keys inside.

Now, sometimes vehicle burglaries are a smash and grab. But there is also an easy solution to this: don’t leave valuables in vehicles and give criminals a reason to want to get into your car! And if you have to, keep them hidden. Stow them in the trunk of the car, in the glovebox, under seats, in center consoles - whatever you need to do to keep valuables out of sight.

They are open 9 to 6, Monday through Friday. And 9 to 12 on Saturdays. They are located at 1165 West Gateway Dr. in Logan, UT 84321.

UPDATE 8/24 @1200: Logan Canyon has been reopened with one lane restrictions. There are still active fire crews on the roadway. Slow down, use caution, and plan for delays.

UPDATE 10PM: at this time, Logan Canyon will remain closed until noon tomorrow, 8/24

8/23/26 - Logan Canyon is closed both on the Rich County side and Cache County side, due to active wildfires. Stay turned for updates.

The alerts WERE NOT intended for our local county residents, only for those who reside in Henefer. If you reside in Cache County, please disregard the alert!
