🐻💙 TEACHER TUESDAY! 💙 🐻
We are so excited to kick off our first "Teacher Tuesday" and highlight one of the many incredible teachers that make Bridger Elementary School the amazing school that it is!
This week, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Abby Walker, one of our amazing Kindergarten teachers! Here are some fun facts and more things to know about her!
Abby has been teaching Kindergarten for 4 years, and was born and raised right here in Cache Valley!
🍬 Favorite Food:
Sour candy! And according to Abby, the Swedish candy shop on Center Street is the BEST! 😋
⚽🎾🏈 Sports:
She loves them all! Abby played soccer for years and is an avid tennis and football fan. Once football season starts, you’ll be seeing plenty of her Chargers gear! ⚡
📚 Favorite Book:
Growing up, Abby read every Sharon Creech book she could get her hands on. Ruby Holler is still one of her very favorites!
✍️ If she weren't teaching Abby says she’d probably be getting her PhD in literature and creative writing! That was her undergraduate degree, and she’d love to teach literature and creative writing at the college level someday.
💙 What she’s looking forward to this year: Abby can’t wait to watch her students’ confidence grow as they experience school for the first time. She knows they’re going to accomplish so much this year—and says it always gets her emotional seeing everything they’ve achieved by the end! 🥹
We are so lucky to have teachers like Abby helping our youngest students as they take those first big steps into their school journey! 🐻💙
