After nearly 20 years, the Lodi Public Library is preparing to reopen on Fridays as part of an expanded weekly schedule approved by the Library Board of Trustees! 🎉

Después de casi 20 años, ¡la Biblioteca Pública de Lodi se está preparando para reabrir los viernes como parte de un nuevo horario ampliado aprobado por la Junta Directiva de la Biblioteca! 🎉

📖 The change will increase library service from 43 to 47 hours each week, add evening hours Monday through Wednesday, and shift our weekly closure from Friday to Sunday.

📖 El cambio aumentará el servicio de la biblioteca de 43 a 47 horas por semana, agregará horario por la tarde de lunes a miércoles y cambiará nuestro día de cierre semanal del viernes al domingo.

This change grew out of something we heard again and again from our community: “When is the Library going to reopen on Fridays?”

Whether you're learning the game or looking for someone to challenge, our Chess Meetup is the perfect place to play!

Join us Monday, August 3 at the Lodi Public Library for a fun, friendly afternoon of chess. Volunteer chess players will be on hand to teach beginners, answer questions, and help you improve your game.
