Police Blotter, week of August 24th.
On August 24th, at 6:58 p.m., an officer responded to a Grove Street address regarding a custody dispute. Following an investigation, Kevin Eugene Angus, 43, was issued a criminal summons for interference with custody.
On August 25th, at 10:05 a.m., an officer responded to a Harris Road address for a reported theft of building materials. The person making the report did not want to pursue criminal charges; they asked that the incident be documented.
On August 26th, at 3:51 a.m., an officer responded to an Oak Court address to investigate a reported s*x offense. The allegations were investigated and closed as unfounded.
On August 26th, at 9:51 a.m., an officer responded to an Academy Street address regarding an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was subsequently removed by a local towing company. A report was taken.
On August 26th, at 3:09 p.m., an officer responded to an Elyria Street address to investigate a reported s*x offense. The person making the report did not want to pursue criminal charges; they asked that the incident be documented.
On August 27th, at 9:29 a.m., an officer responded to a Railroad Street address for a report of trespassers. The officer made contact with the individuals involved and issued a trespass warning.
On August 27th, at 4:11 p.m., an officer responded to a Medina Street address for a report of trespassing and suspicious circumstances. The drug-related allegations were investigated and closed as unfounded.
On August 28th, at 3:11 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop near Elyria Street on an individual operating an electric bicycle on the roadway with an unrestrained child. Kevin Owen Davies Jr. was cited for driving under suspension and failing to properly restrain a child.
On August 30th, at 8:01 a.m., officers responded to a Harris Street address for a medical emergency. First responders administered life-saving measures on scene, and the person was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
