✨ AVID Summer Institute 2026 ✨

Our WSMS AVID Team had an incredible time learning, collaborating, and growing at the AVID Summer Institute this week!

We explored new strategies to strengthen tutorials, support teachers, and continue building a strong AVID culture that helps all students succeed. We are returning energized, inspired, and ready to put these ideas into action for the 2026-2027 school year.

We are grateful for the opportunity to grow as educators and can’t wait to see how this learning helps our students reach new heights this year! ⭐💚🐎

The new athletic year is upon us! It is time to complete annual electronic documents again on dragonfly. Do this early, so that your child is eligible and doesn’t miss out on athletic activities! While you’re there take a look at your physical dates to see when they need to be renewed. You should now be looking at the 2026-2027 athletic year for eligibility!

Basketball and Volleyball workouts begin this week. If you have not already done so, sign in to your athlete’s dragonfly accounts to make sure everything is uploaded and approved! Without this, they will not be allowed to participate!

All workouts will take place at WSMS Gym
Girls Basketball: Monday 6-7 PM
Boys Basketball: Monday 7-8 PM
Volleyball: Tuesday and Wednesday 6-8 PM
