Finally, we made it to September! 🍂

This month, we’re putting a special focus on the importance of being on time and ready to learn.

Students who are chronically late to school and checking in through the front office will receive a yellow warning slip today. Moving forward in September, students who continue to be habitually late will receive a yellow slip and a referral.

PSAT/NMSQT & SAT School Day Information

Test Date - Wednesday, October 21, 2026

Locust Grove HS is happy to provide an opportunity for students to prepare for the SAT through the administration of the Preliminary SAT, also known as the PSAT/NMSQT® (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test).

The PSAT is a preparatory version of the SAT exam. You can only take the PSAT once per year. If you earn a high score on the PSAT, you could qualify to receive a National Merit Scholarship! The PSAT tests your skills in reading, writing, and math. The standard testing time for the PSAT is 2 hours and 15 minutes.

This test is available to eligible home study students residing in Henry County.
