Lockport Township has enjoyed some quality time with our friends at Carillon Lakes recently! 💙

First, we were honored to be invited to celebrate Carillon Lakes’ 25th Anniversary on August 31st. Supervisor Alex Zapien joined Crest Hill Mayor Soliman in sharing a few words and congratulating Carillon Lakes on 25 wonderful years of being a valued senior living community.

Supervisor Zapien also attended Carillon Lakes’ Health Fair today, where he had the opportunity to share information about Lockport Township’s services, including our vaccination program and lockbox program.

We’re grateful to Carillon Lakes, the City of Crest Hill, and all of the municipalities throughout Lockport Township for their continued partnership. We’re proud to serve and support all of our residents and communities!

The Lockport Woman's Club is hosting their Bags of Hope community service project at the Township Building in September!

They are kindly requesting donations of new items to fill Bags of Hope for children and teens served by the Will County Children's Advocacy Center. Each bag will bring comfort, encouragement, and hope to a child or teen.

Lockport Township Clerk Erin Haas Gotts' Office offers Illinois License Plate Sticker renewals! Stop by the Township to renew yours 🚗.

What you need to know:
-Serving ALL Illinois Residents
-Credit/ Debit only
-Processing fee of $6.50 for most vehicles. An additional fee may be required depending on the vehicle type

Thank you to the Lockport American Legion for hosting the August TRIAD meeting!

Today, we heard from several of our local leaders: Commander Jason Miller, Lockport Township Trustee Karen Johnson, and Will County Board Member Sherry Williams. They shared valuable information, offered insight into our community, and took the time to answer residents' questions.

Back in June, we had the pleasure of recognizing a few of our scholarship recipients at the Township's monthly board meeting👏.

We're proud of all they've accomplished so far and know they'll continue to do great things as they begin the new school year. We wish them all the best of luck!

Information regarding the 2026-2027 scholarship program will be available this fall, so keep an eye out! 🎓
