The Village of Lockland, Village of Lockland Fire Department, and Lockland Police Department Ohio joined with Pilot Chemical and Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency for a tabletop exercise where emergency responders, plant personnel, and allied agencies/partners including Lockland Local Schools, Hamilton County Public Health, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Ohio EPA, READING FD (OH), St. Bernard Professional Firefighters Local 450, Greater Cincinnati Hazmat Unit, Drug and Poison Information Center, Hamilton County LEPC, the FBI and others, simulated the response to and recovery from a hazardous material leak.

This training is essential to ensure emergency responders are familiar with both community hazards and the partners that will be involved in such an incident.

Our sincere thanks to all who participated.
