🇲🇽🎶 LOCKHART — IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE! 🎶🇲🇽

The Greater Caldwell County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the City of Lockhart are excited to announce the 2026 Diez y Seis de Septiembre Celebration!

Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12 in Historic Downtown Lockhart
Live on the Michelob ULTRA Stage

Get ready for TWO DAYS of live music, culture, community and celebration in the heart of the BBQ Capital of Texas — and this year’s entertainment lineup is🔥🔥🔥!

🎸 FRIDAY NIGHT

We welcome GRAMMY Award-winning Texas recording artist Rick Treviño! A familiar name to country and Tejano fans alike, Treviño brings a career that has crossed musical boundaries and earned national recognition — and he’s bringing it to Downtown Lockhart!

Then it’s Puro Party Time as La Tropa Estrella takes over the stage! 💃🔥 Bringing the HEAT and a music catalog packed with cumbia favorites, La Tropa Estrella has built a following around the kind of high-energy sound made for the dance floor.

🤠 SATURDAY NIGHT

Texas Country comes to Diez y Seis with Kin Faux! These guys aren’t just bringing the party — they’re bringing the hardware. 🏆 2021 Texas Country Music Association Country Band of the Year, 2023 TCMA Entertainer of the Year, multiple #1 Texas radio hits, and now a 2026 TCMA Band of the Year finalist!

And then… we close out Diez y Seis with a TEJANO LEGEND. 🔥

🎤 Ram Herrera & The Outlaw Band!

Known to generations of Tejano fans as “The Most Wanted Man,” Ram Herrera brings decades of Tejano music to the Michelob ULTRA Stage. A GRAMMY-nominated artist and longtime fixture of the Tejano music scene, Herrera is the perfect way to bring Saturday night — and Diez y Seis 2026 — home! 🇲🇽🎶

And that’s only part of the weekend!

We’ll also have Jessica Ramos, La Nueva Maravilla, Broken Arrow, performances by Lockhart ISD students, the 2026 Diez y Seis Queen Coronation, the City of Lockhart proclamation and our 2026 Royal Court Raffle Drawing!

Diez y Seis is more than a festival. It’s an opportunity to come together and celebrate the music, traditions and Hispanic heritage here in Caldwell County.

We are incredibly grateful to the City of Lockhart, our sponsors, volunteers, performers and everyone who helped us keep this Lockhart tradition alive.

🇲🇽 ¡VIVA DIEZ Y SEIS!
⭐ ¡VIVA LOCKHART! ⭐

📚 Dr. Eugene Clark Library Improvements Underway!
Exterior and interior improvements at the Dr. Eugene Clark Library began as part of ongoing efforts to preserve and enhance this historic community landmark.

Work began with exterior cleaning, surface preparation, minor repairs, and painting and will be followed by interior painting. The project is expected to take approximately six to eight weeks to complete.

Crews are coordinating work around scheduled library programs and the September 11–12 Diez y Seis Celebration to help minimize disruptions.

We appreciate the community’s patience as these improvements are completed and look forward to seeing the library refreshed inside and out! 📖✨
