The Lockhart Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Cheyenne Bell. Cheyenne is described as a 15 year old white female, blue eyes, brown hair, approx. 140 lbs, 5-02. Cheyenne was last seen wearing a red hoodie with black pants and her last known direction of travel was west on County Rd 4 near Svea Rd.

The itinerary date of December 20th for Santa 🎅 coming to Lockhart has been changed to December 19th at 5:00 PM. There has also been change of plans as far as a location, we will be at the park 🛝 in Lockhart across from town hall 🏣 l by. If you intend on participating please contact us via our page so we can get a head count!!! And be advised we are still accepting toy 🧸 donations, there is a donation box 📦 located at the Dollar General in Florala and donations can be dropped off at Lockhart PD!!!

🚨🚨ATTENTION CITIZENS🚨🚨
Chief Piland has officially signed a mutual aid agreement with Santa Claus. The agreement states that officers with the Lockhart Police Department will provide safe passage for Santa Claus through the Town of Lockhart and will ensure that everyone’s gifts will be safe from the Grinch. In return Santa Claus will provide all of the good boys and girls of our community with presents!

We would also like to extend a thank you to the North Pole Police Department for giving Santa Claus a safe es**rt for his pre-Christmas visit to Lockhart.

The roadway is now clear of all first responders. We would like to extend a thank you to all responding agencies. Covington County Sheriff Blake Turman,Florala Fire,Florala Police Department, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Lockhart Fire Dept., and many more.
